At school I'm learning about adding value to the community and how what we actually DO means more then what we SAY. 
We are coming up with ideas on how we can add value to our community, such as having litter free lunches.
Just do it instead of talking about it.

CHAPTER CHAT!

Kia ora,
This term we have been reading "The Explorer" We have been really interested in the book.

We have been doing activities on the chromebook for Chapter Chat and on paper about the book. This is really fun. You can do it with a partner. You get to have fun while you do it. Some examples of a Chapter Chat activities are:

• Information report about an animal ,
• Draw and animal and Label,
• Find new Vocabulary,

A START OF A SCARY STORY (Part 1)

Wednesdays Quickwrites starter was "Cold and Wet, it touched my check....". 

Here we go... Get ready to get scared... (By the way, it's not real).

Cold, wet, it touch my check... Blood spilling out of my mouth, to my knees. Quickly, I ran down to a dead end with Joshua beside me. We saw Daniel hanging from the ceiling and Jack on the ground with a note saying, "I came because of Daniel". Joshua laughed, but cried at the same time because he thought he going to die. It was looking at Josh and I. We were scared. I jumped, grabbed the machete and punched it in the face. It was a d- d- d- DOLL!!! It was knocked out but we took the mask off and it was.... FELIX!!! Josh ZOOMED to Daniel and found a note in his pocket. TO BE CONTINUED...
